Build confidence with your first organic balloon design, from preparation to the finishing touches.

Planned lessons

  • Tools, balloon sizes, colors and workspace preparation
  • Inflation, sizing and building clusters
  • Planning the shape and assembling your arch
  • Filling gaps, finishing, troubleshooting and takedown

Practice project: Create and photograph an organic balloon arch.

No decorating experience needed. Final arch size and frame requirements will be confirmed before enrollment.

Move beyond garlands to a dimensional statement wall with a deliberate color story and polished finish.

  • Support preparation and modular assembly

Practice project: Plan and build a balloon wall, documenting your process.

Comfort with inflation, sizing and balloon clusters recommended.

  • Even pleats, finishing, packing and troubleshooting

Practice project: Create and photograph a single-layer freestanding backdrop.

No draping experience needed. Equipment and fabric requirements will be provided before enrollment.

Four-Layer Draping

Explore layered fabric, balanced proportions and finishing techniques for a more expressive backdrop.

  • Sketching the design and planning four layers
  • Fabric choices, fullness and compatible support systems

  • Final checks, troubleshooting and efficient breakdown

Practice project: Create a four-layer backdrop and explain your design choices.

Basic pipe-and-drape setup and fabric handling experience recommended.
